This week, the children participated in a number of curriculum enrichment activities, learning both about the parliamentary system in modern Britain, as well as focussing on building bonds within our local community.  Highlights include:

  • A very successful parliament assembly and workshop.
  • A celebration to conclude the work that the Year 3 children have been doing with local elderly residents, facilitated by the local charity SUBCO. The children were excellent ambassadors for our school, displaying the 5 Cs throughout the 6 week project.
  • Congratulations to all those who were recognised this week, and who received a celebration certificate for their demonstration of the 5Cs at school.
  • Well done to 1E, 1N and 6P - all achieved 98% and over for their attendance at school this week - a brilliant achievement.

We look forward to a busy summer term - which we know if going to fly by!
