Selwyn ranks 242 in The Sunday Times Top 2,000 schools for 2017

Saturday 03 December 2016

On the 20th November, The Sunday Times published its searchable database of the top 2,000 state and independent schools in Britain.  Firstly, out of a total 16,778 state-funded primary schools in the UK, we were delighted to appear on the list - and were particularly delighted with our place at 242.  This places us within the top 1.44% of all primary schools in Britain - a truly remarkable achievement.

The rankings are produced by looking at final exam scores - for us, this was our Key Stage 2 results for 2013, 2014 and 2015.  This indicates that our school's success is not simply a one-off.

Any parents wishing to use the searchable database can do so by clicking here.  Non-subscribers can access the database by signing up for a free trial.

We are delighted with this result.  Congratulations to our staff team whose dedication to our school and to our children's achievement has led to this excellent result.
